At a moving ceremony in Caracas, the Vice President of the Sector for Politics, Citizen Security, and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, presented decorations to officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) on the occasion of its 15th anniversary. During the event, Cabello also swore in new members of the institution, highlighting the importance of their work for the country’s security.

The Vice President highlighted the key role played by the National Experimental Security University (UNES) in training new PNB officers and other police forces. “Here, they have the opportunity to study a full career. All these institutions are created by the Bolivarian Revolution,” said Cabello, emphasizing the government’s commitment to the education and training of law enforcement agencies.

In accordance with this vision, the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that the security model of the Bolivarian Revolution is based on the Quadrants of Peace, urging further progress in the development of the Bolivarian National Police to ensure the social and integral welfare of the Venezuelan people.

Cabello also said that the Venezuelan people are proud and happy to have police officers accompanying them on the streets. “We must feel love for that uniform; we must feel pride in belonging to the Bolivarian National Police,” he said, making a call to strengthen the bond between the community and its security forces.

The Vice President also emphasized the importance of the Civic-Military-Police merger as a pillar for maintaining peace in Venezuela. In this regard, he reiterated his call to PNB to promote among young people an interest in training as police officers and urged the troops to visit schools to motivate new generations.

With these actions, the Venezuelan government reaffirms its commitment to security and the integral development of the country, highlighting the crucial role of the Bolivarian National Police in this process.
